The problems with Numbers.

What is the Law of truly large numbers?

What is the Gamblers Fallacy?

Why are we so baffled by statistics?

Why Pyramid schemes will never work?

Superstitions involving numbers around the world.

Featuring an episode of Penn and Teller’s B.S. and of course our regular tangent inspired conversations and a sceptical look at the weeks news, this is bound to be a great night. Also just in case you were wondering, there will indeed be more snacks than ever (but I get the left overs).

As always we meet at 6pm in room 1.14 of the G23 Multi-media Building so I hope you can make it…
